Delniwa is a remotant variety of raspberry, upright growth, early ripening, especially tasty, large, red fruits, very productive and excellent for mechanical harvesting.
Delniwa has large fruits with an average weight of 5g, compact shape, bright bright red color and excellent storage properties for freezing. The taste of the fruit is extremely pleasant with 12.7% sugar with a high content of antioxidants, and as such it is very suitable for industrial processing.
Delniwa is a lush raspberry variety with very firm, upright shoots that are easy to handle and therefore an excellent machine-harvested variety for freezing with over 93% first-class fruit.
Delniwa arrives for harvest at the end of July and is harvested until late autumn, and can be harvested twice, i.e. in spring and autumn if the harvest is done by hand.

Delniwa can be sold fresh because the fruits retain their bright red color very well, have an excellent taste and are kept fresh for a long time. They can be harvested twice a year from mid-summer to late autumn, and if the shortened annual shoots are left in the spring, they arrive for picking in May and June of the same year.
Delniwa is an excellent variety for freezing with 93% first class fruit, and the price is identical to other varieties. Production and harvesting costs are significantly lower with a long harvest of 3-4 months.
Delniwa has excellent disease tolerance and is recommended for planting up to 1,000 m above sea level. It is not sensitive to freezing, because in autumn, after picking, all shoots are cut to the surface of the ground and removed from the plot. The following spring, new shoots emerge that bear fruit from mid-July until autumn. It is resistant to the fungal disease of the root system Phytophthora. There are still no specimens found with Agrobacterium tumefaciens that occurs on the root system of plants that are under stress, that is, where the soil is acidic, the soil is compacted (hard), where there is a lack of food, excessive moisture or a lack of moisture in the soil, which causes stressful conditions and thus the resistance of the plant.
Delniwa is a lush raspberry variety with firm, upright shoots that are easy to manipulate and are therefore excellent for mechanical harvesting. Planting is done in spring at a distance of 0.3 x 2.5 m (12,000 pcs/ha) for manual harvesting, and 0.3 x 3 m (10,000 pcs/ha) for machine harvesting. It is recommended to tie it to a trellis if it is hand harvested and leave 6-7 shoots per long metro and no more than 8 shoots because otherwise if there are more shoots there will be a large mass of plants. Then there will certainly be weaker pollination, smaller fruits, harder harvesting,
lower yields, more problems with diseases, insects and mites.
Planting varietal pure, certified and healthy planting material and the application of all agrotechnical measures in an average year, in a full crop, can ensure a yield of 15-20 t/ha with manual harvesting, and if it is done according to the system of two autumn-spring harvests with intensive nutrition, over 30 t/ha. Yields with mechanical harvesting range from 10-15 t/ha.
